So you want my sewing update? Here it is. Yes, that's really all there is. I made these barstool covers by tracing out a circle from an upside-down bowl. I prayed and had enough fabric to do cording and the elasticized bottom. Look, my mom helped and even my dad gave it a try. That was a VERY exciting evening, but we won't get into that. I sprayed them with scotchguard, slipped them on one by one, and decided that... I like the stools better without the covers!!

Okay, here is a paper-pieced cat. We'll call him... Jamantoiney. Hmm. It just came to me. Here he is before he got a face. I gave him to Noah when he got home from work and said, "Look what I made you!" He goes, "Oh, a... butterfly?" Almost. And there he is after he got a face. So ugly it's cute? I'm going to put it on a pillow or something. I told Noah I'd put it on a t-shirt for him. Evil, huh?
Thanks, Janneke! Now we need to sew a border for him and take off the paper. Don't you love the sound of sewing on paper??

Can you see that his necktie and background are made of tiny birds? Look what his face is made of. Leave me a comment if you get why his face is special. *(Quiet giggles.)*
